Nutrience Milk Replacer is carefully formulated to provide optimal nutrition for kittens that still need their mother’s milk, such as kittens that are weaning, and kittens that have been rejected or orphaned. In addition to giving your kitten a healthy start, Nutrience Milk Replacer provides additional nutrition for adult cats that are recovering from illness, malnourished, or nursing.

1. Using the measuring spoon provided, stir 2 ½ level spoons of milk replacer powder into 4 spoons (60 ml) of hot water (60°C).
Stir mixture for 30 seconds or until completely dissolved.
2. Allow the milk to cool to approximately 38°C (body temperature). Once rehydrated, kitten milk replacer can be refrigerated in a clean, airtight container for up to 24 hours.
3. Follow the feeding guide provided and adjust portions according to the size and growth of the animal. Frequent feedings help prevent digestive upsets and provide a constant source of energy for the kitten. Measuring the kitten's weight regularly helps ensure adequate feeding.
4. At 3 weeks of age, the kitten can learn to drink from a saucer.
At 4 weeks, it is possible to wean your kitten by gradually reducing the amount of open milk replacer over a period of 3 to 5 days, while continuing to offer wet kitten food. If weaning seems slow or if supplemental feeding is necessary, it is possible to mix the rehydrated milk replacer with the kitten's wet food.
5. Fresh water must be available to the kitten at all times.
