1. Using the measuring spoon provided, stir 2 level scoops of milk replacer powder into 4 scoops (60 ml) of warm water (60°C). Stir for 30 seconds or until completely dissolved.
2. Allow the milk to cool to approximately 38°C (body temperature) and then serve it to the animal. Once rehydrated, the puppy milk replacer can be refrigerated in a clean, airtight container for up to 24 hours.
3. Follow the enclosed feeding guide and adjust portions according to the puppy's size and growth. Frequent feedings help prevent digestive upsets and provide a constant source of energy for the puppy. Measuring the puppy's weight regularly helps ensure adequate feeding.
4. At 2 weeks of age, the puppy can be taught to drink from a saucer. From 35 days of age, it is possible to offer wet puppy food in small quantities, then increase the portions until the weaning period begins at 45 days. If weaning seems slow or if nutritional supplements are necessary, it is possible to mix rehydrated milk replacer with the puppy's wet food.
